On Saturday, Express staged their much anticipated “Rock the Sidewalk” runway show in the middle of tourist-crazed Times Square. Lucky enough for us, our friends at StyleCaster treated us to blowouts at blow salon followed by a behind-the-scenes tour and VIP seating for the event. It’s been 2 years since we joined Express for their previous ‘Rock the Sidewalk’ event, and it just seems to get bigger and better every season! (Plus you know it’s the place to be if BryanBoy is in the crowd).
Seated front and center at the base of the runway, we watched as the brand showcased their Holiday Collection and campaign shoot. Filled with glittering cocktail dresses, suits, and some 90’s style throwbacks (long hail the grunge-rocker look!), the models strutted down the runway to what could easily be one of the the largest fashion shows ever staged. It was after all open to the public, and free of charge — so you can only imagine the turn-out and mobs of fans that filled the streets to join in the fun.
After the final walk and the crowds had dispersed, the celebration wasn’t over (for us at least!). It was off to the after-party at Los Feliz to continue the night in style!
