Bearing the enigmatic face of Piero Fornasettie’s muse Lina Cavalieri, She was an internationally recognized artist who lived at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, who was known as ‘the most beautiful woman in the world.’ While Piero never met Lina, he considered her face the quintessential image of classical beauty and her face has since become a signature Fornasetti centerpiece.
The decorated ceramic vase with lid features Lina with a star over her eye and angelic stance on one side, on the other her tongue is sticking out as she flaunts a tongue ring.
It’s a wonderfully warm, smokey sophisticated scent combining wild and aromatic Mediterranean herbs once grown throughout the grounds of the Fornasetti family home in Milan. It features top notes of Lemon, Bergamot, Mandarin and Galbanum; middle notes of Pine Sap and Samphire, and base notes of Cistus Labdamum, Iodine and Ambergris.
