Award season is in full swing and with the Oscars happening this Sunday, I’m partnering with my friends at Babbleboxx to share some of our must haves for when you need a little extra TLC.

Next up is Baby Foot, which comes with a major disclaimer of doing it 1-3 weeks before any major event. It’s the original exfoliating foot peel and a mind-blowing product. Designed to remove dead skin cells that can build up over time due to pressure and friction from everyday activities as standing, exercise and wearing shoes it breaks up all of that rough skin so feet are reborn and baby soft.
Each box contains two plastic booties (one for each foot) and after cleansing your feet you wear them for 1 hour. Inside the boot is a blend of 17 types of natural extracts, with the principal ingredient being fruit acid, which penetrates into the layers of dead skin cells to break down the desmosomes, which hold the layers together. The formula is designed to exfoliate and moisturizes feet at the same time. When the time is up (do not wear them longer!) wash your feet with soap. You can also pre-soak your feet for 30 minutes for more optimal results but I’ve done it both ways and as long as they are clean going into the boots you’ll see incredible results. Within 5-7 days after applying your foot will peel like crazy (google image: Baby Foot). You will literally watch as the dead skin cells melt off like you’re a zombie. The process can take up to two weeks (in my case it took about a week) to fully fall off. The process leaves skin undamaged and allows dead layers of skin to peel away easily from the fresh layers beneath. When all the mess is over smooth skin is revealed, leaving you with healthy, baby feet.
If there’s one thing I learned from fashion week and the unsettling amount of meetings and events is that it does a number on my beauty sleep.
