Last Week to Shop the Patricia Field Closing Sale (Psst everything is 50% off!)

It’s the end of an era, or will be in the coming week. As most of you know my dear friend, Patricia Field, my style icon and the award winning costume who designed the looks behind Sex and the City, Devil Wears Prada, Confessions of a Shopaholic, Younger (and so many more) will be closing her store, the House of Field this week after 50 years. The official close date is February 28th and for this final week she’s extending her store hours Monday – Saturday 12 – 8pm and Sunday 12pm – 7pm. Also the entire store is 50% off and she’s selling fixtures so get in on a piece of NYC history and shop the iconic store before it closes. There’s also a fashion/art gallery on display in the store that’s with a visit.

The website doesn’t do the store justice and the selection doesn’t compete. Patricia Field is known for discovering amazing artists and designers and the store features so many creative and cool one of a kind pieces like the vest I’m wearing. Mixed in with these designer pieces are $12 sunglasses (like the ones I’m wearing) and costume jewelry at all different price points. The store is two floors and probably one of the coolest NYC destinations. It’s like a museum in their and there’s nothing else like it. As original as she is and fun fact, half of the store used to be Patricia Field’s apartment. patricia-field-custom-vest-sequins-chains

Completely unrelated but for anyone looking for some winter/snow boots, these Sporto Delida Lacy Up Duck Boots are awesome. The fleece lining and cushion insole feels like you’re wearing slippers and the waterproof rubber exterior keeps the snow, rain, and any other elements from coming in. And they are super warm.

The Patricia Field store, House of Field is located at 306 Bowery, NYC
