Last night was amazing. AMAZING! You have to check out my snapchat @prettyconnected and see the evening NARS planned. It’s been teased for months that NARS Cosmetics is collaborating with renowned photographer, Steven Klein for their holiday collection. While no images had been released the brand hosted an exclusive party at the historic Alder Manor in Yonkers, NY to celebrate the partnership.
The event space or rather the mansion, housed an experience like no other. Designed in partnership with famed producer, Etienne Russo of Villa Eugenie, Steven Klein and François Nars created an immersive experience bringing the world of NARS Steven Klein to life through a series of artistic vignettes and installations within the Manor. Music, lights, art all played a role as we explored each home. It was like Sleep No More merged with PS1Guests to take place in a Lady Gaga video on the Great Gatsby’s property.
Best part is they hosted a small group of beauty editors before the party started to preview and play with the new collection. No photographs are allowed but you’re all going to die when you see it. The packaging, the formulas, the colors!!!!! It’s going to sell out.
It was incredible and an out of this world party. The evening also included a performance by singer Nomi Ruiz and music by DJ Honey Dijon in celebration of this unique collaboration.
