Easily one of my summer highlights is going to the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. Everyone dresses to the nines in their best 1920’s/Pretty Woman inspired attire and drinks champagne all day — oh and there’s handsome men on horses, led by Argentine polo champion player Nacho Figueras playing polo in the background. It’s a visual fantasy and one I very much look forward to every year.
Usually there are two section, general admission ($65) and VIP (the tickets money can’t buy). This year the champagne brand opened up a third option, the Rose Garden ($500) which included private access to the Veuve Clicquot Rose Garden and complementary bottle of Rose.
Hosted at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, James and I had a blast playing in the Rose Garden and mingling with guests. Many of our blogger friends were in attendance so it was a great way to kick off being back in NYC. That and I always look forward to the halftime entertainment of stomping on the divots.Next up Governors Ball this weekend! It’s good to be home.
