It’s been a big month for Eva Mendes! The actress recently gave birth to her first daughter, and is celebrating the 1 year anniversary of her partnership with clothing brand, New York and Company. On Wednesday night the retailer invited media and consumers alike to celebrate Eva’s second Fall collection with a flash mob! Taking place at three different iconic locations in New York City.
Starting at the New York Public Library, models unloaded from double decker bus and took to the streets donned head to toe in the “Fall in New York” inspired collection. The second, and perhaps most grandiose fashion flash mob took place in the iconic Flatiron Plaza with a back drop of the Empire State Building to boot! Music pumped through the streets as models dressed not only in the collection, but wearing hats adorned with unique flowers as an homage to the prints, danced and entertained passersby. During the whole event, fashion tour bus equipped with a large TV monitor played a video of Mendes with behind-the-scene footage from the fall campaign. The last stop on the fashion flash tour was none other than the retail streets of 58th and Lexington Avenue where guests were given gift bags and the exclusive opportunity at first access to shop the collection! Needless to say this had the crowd dancing and thriving in a flash of excitement.
Maroon, dots and florals set the tone for the fall collection with a retro domestic housewife ad campaign staring Eva Mendes.
