{Recap} Getting Gorgeous with Audrey McClelland and Vera Sweeney

On a Monday a few weeks back (you can tell it’s a monday since my #NoMakeupMonday crusade is in full effect), I joined Audrey McClelland of Mom Generations and Vera Sweeney of Lady And The Blog for their spring Getting Gorgeous event! This is their annual event where they join top bloggers with fashion and beauty brands. Hosted at the Metropolitan Pavilion it was a beautiful day to kick back, drink some Voli Vodka (it was 5pm somewhere) and meet some new brands.

Vo5 was the title sponsor and offered dry style services (I did a top knot bun!) and showcased their latest launch Pure Sunshine, which as some of you may remember they worked with different bloggers (myself included!) to narrow a bunch of sample scents down to 3, and then turned to their Facebook fans to pick a winning scent. So launching later this year, Pure Sunshine will be available. Also on display was their Salon Series which I was excited to get my hands on. I’ve been in so many drug stores in the city looking for it and I can never find it!

Bali showed off some of their popular and new bra styles. When it comes to comfort this brand is top notch! I got a fitting from one of their specialists and am so excited for my new bra to arrive! There’s really no better confidence booster then a slimming and comfortable bra that supports (especially when you have ladies my size… and by ladies I mean boobs).

I was also super excited to learn about ReXist360, which offers resistance bands that don’t slip and help to dramatically increase your strength, speed and endurance. Strength and resistance training are so important, especially as we get older so any help I can get, I’m into!20140619-134132-49292523.jpg20140619-134132-49292726.jpg

Now I’m new to the baby world, but Summer Infant has loads of great finds from SwaddleMe body fitting blankets to portable playards. With all of the baby showers I have on my calendar I got some much needed recommendations.

Calgon showed off some of their bath and body line. And reminded me just how much I need to get back into the habit of soaking my feet in epson salt every night!

Pampers showed off their adorable Easy Ups. I mean this Lilo & Stitch collection is almost too cute to handle!

Also at the event Stop & Shop showed off some of their healthy snacks and recipes. Since we don’t have them in the city I feel so limited in being to take advantage of their great specials and deals.

Thank you Audrey and Vera for such a lovely day!
