A few weeks back I joined VO5 for their #AScentIsBorn luncheon, where they picked a select group of beauty bloggers and influencers to help them choose the next VO5 fragrance. The brand had been traveling to different cities where they we’re testing different fragrance types with different influencers — for NYC we got the “delicious” category.
We were handed three nameless scented conditioners and asked to smell each, try to identify the notes and then pick our favorite. As someone who reaches for clean to fresh and dare I say masculine scents for my hair, it was tough for me to pick a favorite. Fortunately, I opted for “#3” which turned out to be the most popular amongst the crowd.
Here’s a look at the flavors in each scent in case you’d like to weigh in. Since I’m going to venture to say #3 will likely win, they also asked if we wanted to help name the scent. From the way VO5 names it’s products, I offered “S’more Coconut” which the crowd responded well to, so if that ends up being the name, you heard it here first!
