A perfect storm of glamour was stirring at Alon Livné for the showing of his Fall/Winter 2014 collection. With inspiration coming from the silent film “The Sheik” garments channeled an old world flair of the 1920’s while making sure no element of shine was left behind. Richard Anderson and the team at Perfekt Beauty gave models a posh polish with their skin perfection gel and cheeks a perfect pigment with their rightfully named, cheek perfection gel. Opting for a less is more look, they prepped the skin with Mario Badescu Skin Moisturizer, followed by a pearl sized amount of PB’s Skin Perfection Gel in Luminous. Then Skin Perfection CC Creme SPF 30 was applied (this was also used for the lips) followed by Skin Perfection Conceal for spot treatment. The cheeks were contoured using the Cheek Perfection Gel in Bronzed. The eyes were primed with the Skin Perfection Conceal in Luminous, followed by a nude eye shadow all over the lid and outer corner of the eye and the brows were brushed with the Brow Perfection Gel in Caramel.
TIGI Global Creative Director Nick Irwin created complimenting hair with sleek styling of a very clean chignon. Hair loosely reminisced the golden age but Irwin was certain to give it a modern twist as to not make the overall style too costume-like. The strength of this stunning beauty look continued all the way through to the tips in regal shades of deep purple {Queen B} a gold tone with spunk {Goldie but Goodie} a sheer sliver {Gossip Over Gimlets} that was coated in Swarovski crystals, all courtesy of Pattie Yankee for China Glaze. Clearly no detail was overlooked and it was evident. Twenty looks and a handful of jaw-dropping headpieces had the crowd hoping for a black-tie invitation come fall.
