Whenever I’m asked in interviews who’s closet I’d like the raid, my answer is generally one of the following (or all of the above): Olivia Palermo, Blake Lively, Rachel Bilson, or Nicole Richie. Nine out of ten times I want what they are wearing — from their boho chic to classic cocktail attire these four ladies have my dream aesthetic (and wardrobes).
Olivia Palermo, I give special props to since besides being incredibly well off, she does a great job of mixing designer and contemporary clothing so some items are actually in budget. (She’s often spotted in Zara). She also catches my eye not just for the pieces she chooses but also how she styles them all together. She always looks so clean and put together without it being too much or a million steps to get the look. It’s usually an unexpected color palette or mix of prints — just something that sets it apart while still maintaining that polished, refined look.
When shopping on eBay I’ll regularly throw in Olivia Palermo in the ‘search’ bar to see what comes up. It definitely inspires my purchasing decisions.
