Last week, we boogied down with UGG Australia in celebration of their 35th Anniversary. The brand that made the classic sheepskin boot a household shoe — I mean who doesn’t own a pair? It’s like a trap. Once your feet know that kind of comfort, you’ll never go without a set in your arsenal.
“It’s been 35 years since UGG was introduced to America,” said UGG brand president Constance X. Rishwain. “Since then, UGG has evolved far beyond a fad, and the brand has become synonymous with luxurious comfort all around the globe.”
To commemorate the milestone anniversary, UGG is launching an anniversary capsule collection (photo above) featuring boots, sneakers and slippers for men and women. The collection reflects an old-school varsity vibe featuring the UGG ’78 embroidered logo and retro polka dots.
Since their launch in 1978, UGG Australia has become a recognized as a premium lifestyle brand that houses footwear, apparel, outerwear, accessories, hand bags and soon to launch this fall, UGG Home. And speaking of 1978… my lovely date (who was also born that year), won best 70s costume! That hair really sealed the deal (that was good time s blow-dryer and volume mousse)
He, along with one of my favorite gal-pals, Ashley from StyleCaster we’re the outfit winners and took their victory dance to the beats of Michael Jackson.
And because no contest goes without a prize. scope these UGG San Pietro shoes that are made in Italy that James won! I mean come on gentleman… get in on these!
Congratulations UGG on 35 years of awesomeness! Cheers!
