If ever a time to throw caution to the wind and buy that boldly printed jacket, it’s now! They we’re all over the runway for fall, and something you are sure to see at varying price points by mass and designer labels. No matter the budget, or if you opt for a full length, short or otherwise, the most important thing to look out for is the fit! Make sure you’re wearing the coat and the coat isn’t wearing you. There should be a burst in confidence every time you put it on, no matter what you’re wearing beneath, otherwise if it’s not ‘you’ then it will just sit in your closet.
With eBay recently launching “Collections“, a feature that lets you organize shoppable items on eBay and categorize them by theme, I made a “Printed Coats” collection and have been adding some of my recent finds (as seen above). Included in my collection is the Rag and Bone Black Winsor coat, which I actually own and is my everything! I bought it last season and while I’m not a cold weather girl, this coat actually makes me excited for winter! (That says a lot). It was definitely an investment piece but I’m willing to always spend more on something I know I’ll wear all the time and for seasons to come. I always consider the amount of wear to price ratio when deciphering if something is a good investment.
