For RealReal

Umm for realz why haven’t I heard of The RealReal prior to this week? I’m a huge consignment/vintage store junkie. Not only is it more sustainable to buy used but it’s the quickest way to own a piece of history from your favorite designers archive (and at a more affordable price point).

For one night only, The RealReal, which is an online consignment store opened it’s office doors to let editors peak (and purchase) their selection of designer clothing hand picked out from the closets of some of Manhattan’s most elite’s. Their website, which offers authenticated, pre-owned, designer brands including Chanel, Hermes, Christian Louboutin, Marni and Proenza Schouler — all at up to 90% off retail prices, was laid out before me for the taking (inhale). I’m talking jewelry, accessories, bags, clothing and shoes; it’s a good thing I had to run to my birthday party otherwise I could have depleted my back account.

{Here’s a taste (although for the real deal go to RealReal.com)}

{How cute is that cropped jacket?}

{Say VERY CUTE because it’s Proenza Schouler and now it’s mine — happy birthday to me!}

If you’re closet is swarming with great designer clothes, The RealReal is a great way to consign — they do all the work for you from authentication to photography to shipment. Their White Glove concierge service is available in New York City, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Charlotte, Atlanta, South Florida, Houston and Dallas (as in they come to you!). As a consignor, you earn up to 70 percent of an item’s price.
