On behalf of Shoes, Shirts & Other Sh!t blog, I had the pleasure of attending and sitting front row at Haut’e MusiQ: A Night of Fashion & MusiQ charity event in San Francisco. Hosted at the Slide Lounge (yes, although closed off for the evening there was actually a slide at the club), all proceeds from the fundraiser benefited the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter for San Bruno Fire Relief.
Models from labels Phuong My (who participated in Fashion Night Out at Macys in SF & NYC) , Kaatje Designs and PACE Clothing (available at Urban Outfitters) walked the runway garnished in rose petals. And in celebration of Fleet Week, the muses were escorted on at off the podium at the edge of the runway by four sailors. The show concluded with a theatrical performance by the ladies of Dark Garden Corsetry & Couture (who has dressed celebrities including Christina Aguilera, Pamela Anderson and Kelly Osbourne).
