Share Your Beauty is the first beauty donation program, co-founded by Lara Eurdolian of PrettyConnected.com and the poverty relief non-profit organization Family-to-Family since 2014. Together we organize drives and events to collect beauty and hygiene products and deliver them to shelters and teen centers in NYC, Westchester and the tri-state area.
We accept all beauty/hair/fragrance/nail products, please make sure they are new/sealed and non-expired. At this time we can only accept products from brands, PR Agencies and magazines. We currently can not accept products through Family-to-Family by individuals.
Over the past decade, I’ve seen a lot of waste in the beauty industry from brands that have re-packaged or discontinued perfectly good products and had them destroyed in a warehouse because they were no longer able to be sold for purchase, to the amount of excess we beauty Influencers/editors/bloggers accumulate from the vast amount of products that show up at our door. While there are tons of programs to donate clothing to those in need, for beauty products it’s more of a challenge. The idea behind Share Your Beauty is to encourage a more sustainable beauty industry and giving those with excess a place to donate while helping women who are homeless or victims of domestic violence to feel their best.
Since our launch in February 2014, over 407,000 beauty products have been donated thanks to the generous support of brands, magazines and PR Agencies.
Share Your Beauty has joined forces with LeSportsac, who has generously donated their bags so all of our products are gifted in their beautiful bags.
A special thank you to Elemis, Aveeno, Birchbox, bareMinerals, Buxom, Knock Out Cosmetics, Elizabeth Arden, Essence/Cosnova Inc., Henri Bendel, PopSugar, Mario Badescu, L’Occitane, L’Oreal, Lush, Pureology, Redken, and Tarte Cosmetics and so many more for your generous donations.
