Urban Decay is seriously turning up the heat on their beloved Naked eyeshadow collection with their latest ‘Heat’ palette. The fiery eyeshadow palette includes 12 brand new shades including 7 matte colors and 5 shimmering pigments. The colors range from amber-hued neutrals, burnt oranges and reddish browns to glimmering coppers and sultry bronzes.
No really, Lipstick is my vice. Even after being in the beauty industry for over ten years, it’s still a thrill opening a gorgeous lipstick shade. I was really fortunate to be apart of the Urban Decay mega lipstick launch a couple of months ago, back in May, when the did a complete lipstick revamp launching 100 reformulated shades (74 of which were completely new!) as part of the Vice Lipstick collection ($17 each). They teamed up with 100 influencers for each to be the face of one of the shades.
Being the bright pink queen that I am, I was matched with shade, Jilted (you can see the whole lookbook and everyone featured HERE). It was pretty surreal to see my face on Urban Decay’s website. They really are one of my all time favorite makeup brands and just embrace color and cater to so many different ethnicities. Granted, they picked a really strange image of me — I look so angry, ha! But I’ll take it! It’s hard to believe 3 months ago i had purple and green hair and now I’m a bleach blonde. Jilted is a deep fuchsia shimmer cream lipstick with blue shift. The massive lipstick assortment range in six different finishes from mattes, creams, to sheers.

Now for the holidays they have launched two new limited edition Vice palettes, Blackmail and Junkie. They are a steal at $35 and feature 12 Vice Lipstick shades and the Vice Lip Brush, which is retractable. I’ve been seeing them all over Instagram but not swatched out and I think that’s key to these palettes since the finishes range. The colors you see in the pans completely transforms for a lot of them when you put them on. I only have the Blackmail palette, swatched below:
Left to right, top row: Sheer Shame, Firebirth, Big Bang, Disobedient, EZ, and 714. Bottom Row: Vanished, 1993, Ex-Girlgriend, Amulet, Conspiracy, and Blackmail.

The blush rumors are true! The latest installment of the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani collaboration is almost here and includes a Blush Palette ($45), Brow Box ($30) and series of 8 lipsticks ($18) and 6 lip pencils ($20). As most of you know Urban Decay launched an UD Gwen Stefani ($58) 15 shade eyeshadow palette last year.
The blush palette is amazing and is going to make you want to throw out every other one you have and just use this one. Six amazing shades, true to color in a gorgeous gold on white compact.
The Brow Box is in shade Bathwater Blonde and is for blondes so I didn’t get to try it but it has a highlight plus two shades on the top of the compact and two mini brow brushes and an eyebrow tweezer in the second row. Urban Decay does have darker shade Brow Boxes in their existing collection.
Between the holidays and New Years, this is the best time of the year to play with new makeup and eyeshadow palettes. I can’t seem to stop buying and trying new palettes — they are all so pretty! Here are some of my current favorites:
TOO FACED La Petite Maison, $39 ($153 value) – TOO FACED really out did themselves this year on their holiday gift sets. The packaging opens to a Parisian chambre (with views of the Eiffel Tower) and reveals a 12 shade eyeshadow palette and deluxe size of their bestselling Better Than Sex mascara. The palette is lightweight, purse friendly and the perfect mix of matte and sparkles to take you from day to night.
Urban Decay Vice4 ($60) – While we may play it safe for the majority of our makeup looks, it’s always fun to have one palette in your arsenal that pushes the limits and packs a range of bright colors for when you’re feeling more adventurous. This palette features 20 iconic shades from their collection ranging in finishes from buttery-smooth mattes and shimmering metallics to shades laced with micro-glitter. It’s a party in a palette!
Whenever Urban Decay launches a new palette I can’t imagine a beauty blogger on the planet that doesn’t take note. They really cornered the market with their NAKED range, and if you’re as obsessed with the collection as I am then get ready for the their latest palette, Urban Decay Naked Smoky, which launches this week!
