In an effort to provide clean water for millions of children around the world, during World Water Week (March 20-26) restaurants in New York City and across the country will help raise funds for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF Tap Project. Participating restaurants will encourage patrons to donate $1 or more for the tap water they usually enjoy for free. Their donation will aid UNICEF’s water and sanitation programs in Togo, the Central African Republic and Vietnam. For Every $1 Raised, UNICEF Can Provide One Child Access to Safe, Clean Water for 40 Days.
