In what could easily be described as the best event I’ve been to in the new year — and hands down most creative, the Prabal Gurung for Target launch party at Pier 57 in NYC was out of this world. Or rather out of a carnival. With classic rides, including a carousel and games you’d see at a fair, there was a break in the middle for a stage. With it being hush, hush as to who would perform when out came Ne-yo!
I LOVE Prabal. I met him once at an event I was producing a few years back and was literally so in aww of him, I couldn’t speak. His designs slay me… and come February 10th, I can afford them! That’s right, he’s doing a collaboration with Target and instead of the price tags reflecting upwards of $1500, this collection starts at $15! With over 80+ looks (we’re talking clothes, bags, shoes and accessories), here are some of my favorites:
