Saturday night my lovely date Amy Harder of the National Journal and I got all glamed up and headed to the Washington Hilton for the pre-White House Correspondent’s Dinner reception hosted by the National Journal, CBS News and The Atlantic. This one of the few events noted in my calendar where I can justify adding a full-length gown to my wardrobe. I have a confession. While I have wonderfully white teeth (something I regularly get compliments on), the truth of the matter is, while I’m a religious brusher, I’m a terrible flosser. And every dentist I’ve ever been to will vouch for it. That’s always the feedback — floss more. And with every new years resolution for improvement or health motivation speech I make to myself, I can not for the life of me get into a flossing routine (and the floss is on my nightstand just staring at me on a nightly basis).
