This is really exciting for me. I’ve dabbled in some international press but nothing of this caliber before. A two-page spread in this months, May issue of Cosmopolitan Armenia!!! The feature chronicles my journey through the fashion and beauty industry, starting with graduating from FIT and highlighting my career at NARS, Jurlique and Kiehl’s while launching this site. As an ethnic Armenian so I’m so appreciative to receive this type of recognition. I can’t wait to show my grandparents!

Gap to purchase luxury retailer Intermix

Looks like Gap Inc. is entering the luxury market! The clothing retailer, which owns Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime and Athleta is purchasing multi-brand retailer Intermix Inc. for $130 million.

RIP Marty Resiman, legend, hustler, friend.

Last night, we lost a great in the tennis table world, Marty Reisman at the age of 82 due to heart and lung complications. He lived life on a large scale. Marty was many things, jetsetter, entrepreneur, legend, famed ping pong hustler (he won over 20 major table tennis titles) and to the lucky ones we got to call him a friend. He was so dapper and the kind of man that could pull off sunglasses and a Panama hat indoors and carried himself in a way, that you knew he was one of the greats. And he was.
I had the honor of meeting two table tennis legends Marty Reisman and Dick Miles.
In 2008 Matthew Broderick was on the David Letterman show and reference the legend and how he could “supposedly put a cigarette on a table and hit it with a ping pong ball and crack it in half, that’s how good he was.” Lettermand then surprised Broderick with Reisman and a table where he performed the trick — until that moment the two had never met him. Broderick wasn’t the only one to meet Reisman that night.
The evening that episode aired, I was at a party in Tribeca, of which Marty was the celebrated guest. When the Letterman Show came on, the room became still and over a projector we watched together as Marty (always so stylish), triumphantly cut that cigarette in half. Project Runway and Lord & Taylor: Match Made in TV Heaven

This summer Lifetime’s hit show, Project Runway, is celebrating its 10th anniversary season by introducing an exclusive partnership with retailer, Lord & Taylor. Among other things, fans can expect to see a never-before-done challenge in which Project Runway will showcase a custom-built “accessories wall”, as well as an assortment of Lord & Taylor shoes, accessories, and handbags that contestants will use for the 10th episode competition. This particular episode will take place at the Fifth Avenue flagship store and will air on Thursday, August 30th.
The grand prize winner will have the opportunity to sell their collection at Lord & Taylor stores.
You can follow the progress of the contestants and watch exclusive interviews on the Lord & Taylor website and via Lord & Taylor Facebook page and Twitter. The store will also host appearances from past and present contestants during this year’s Fashion’s Night Out!

Hourglass launches Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick

Hourglass Cosmetics has launched their latest lip range, Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick. The applicator and packaging resemble a lip gloss, but the finish is undoubtedly a highly pigmented, full coverage, matte finish lipstick. It’s incredibly long lasting (although it claims 14 hours and I like to reapply after about 5-8h hours), and best of all it doesn’t budge! You can drink your coffee and salvage your lipstick! It probably one of the least messy lipsticks I own.

Every morning it’s always the same routine, half wake up, reach for my iPhone and before even getting out of bed, check my email, twitter, and instagram before starting my day.
