Icon and novelist, Jackie Collins has written 31 books over the course of her career, all of which have appeared on The New York Times bestsellers list. And it’s because they suck you in, murder, betrayal, love, lust all run through the eccentric characters. Inspired by the rich and famous and world of celebrities Collins is privy too, she bases her stories and characters on real life occurrences (well, hopefully not the murder parts), and takes you on a world of adventure with every page.
Well kids, it’s wedding season, which means my weekends are booked solid. And I’m so bummed because this SELF Magazine Up & Out event looks amazing!
I’m so excited to be working with the amazing team at Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) and to be on the host committee for their annual Summer Soiree at the Dream Downtown hotel. My good friend Patricia Field (yes, the Patricia Field) took me as her date last year and I am so glad to have this opportunity to get further involved with this wonderful cause. Both Patricia and myself will be in attendance and hope you’re able to join us!
Last weekend, I had an awesome Governor’s Ball experience thanks to my good friends at Dove. They brought a whole crew of beauty bloggers and editors to the music festival and hosted a private cabana over looking the main stage. I’m a big music festival girl. I love the fashion, music, atmosphere (although the rain induced mudd from the night before I could have done without) and having that combined with my favorite beauty gals just made the day for me.
This morning, AMOREPACIFIC unveiled it’s beautiful new boutique shop located inside Bloomingdale’s 59th Street flagship location in NYC.
This Friday, it’s time! The Birchbox Summer Beauty Shop is officially launching at select Gap stores across the country! The eight-week experience will run through the end of July in seven flagship Gap locations in New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles and Houston.

This weekend I’m headed to Governors Ball with Dove so there’s no better time to primp up! Although lets be honest, I never need an excuse to get glam.
Fortunately for the next two weekends, Topshop is partnering with Blo Blow Dry Bar, and Melt Bakery to host a Summer Concession Pop-Up at their 5th Avenue location. Come in for hair styling, a nail art bar, frozen treats and sip champagne while you shop!
For anyone not heading out to Governor’s Ball this weekend and hanging out in NYC, Dr. Martens is doing a cool event this Sunday evening with Love Hate Social Club, the tattoo artists from the reality TV show “NY Ink.”
Easily one of my summer highlights is going to the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. Everyone dresses to the nines in their best 1920’s/Pretty Woman inspired attire and drinks champagne all day — oh and there’s handsome men on horses, led by Argentine polo champion player Nacho Figueras playing polo in the background. It’s a visual fantasy and one I very much look forward to every year.
