My latest beauty innovation discoveries

I always love trying new, innovative, make-your-life-easier beauty devices and products. Here are a few from Neutrogena, Color Me, Makeup Eraser, Sally Hansen and more that caught my attention. Full reviews below!

Makeup Eraser

If you find yourself going through packs of makeup wipes every couple of weeks, or hate the consistency of an oil cleanser to melt that makeup off, this product was made for you. The blanket-soft cloth removes smear-proof, waterproof makeup and mascara by simply adding warm water. Free of chemicals, the Makeup Eraser gets rid of all types of makeup and each cloth will last a thousand washes, meaning you can toss it right in the washing machine to clean it. While I still love the feel of a Micellar Water and cotton ball to remove my makeup, I give them a lot of props for being eco-friendly, cost effective and the fact that it works sans any other products. After washing my face I don’t like to use a towel (too abrasive) to dry it and find myself using this to pat me dry.

Tweezerman Expertweeze LED Lighted Tweezer

Tweezerman launched a brand new type of tweezer earlier this month and it’s a total game changer. Equipped with a convenient LED light, the Expertweeze Lighted Slant Tweezer ensures you will never miss a hair again. Expert brow shaping has never been so easy! I didn’t know an LED light would make such a difference but it’s like it magically makes hairs I was otherwise blind to appear as soon as I turn on the light!

Color Me Automatic Foundation Applicator Pro Edition

With 250 sonic taps per second, the Color Me applicator allows women to tap on their foundation and powder just like the pros do. The Color Me sponges buff foundation smoothly into skin, including  hard-to-reach areas like around the nose and eyes. This is for anyone who wants superior coverage and long-wear results quickly with their own foundation.  The sponge tip achieves remarkable precision for clean lines around the lips, eyebrows, and up to the hairline. I do find that I have to use a light or no primer or my skin can pill with the combination but otherwise it gives the perfect air brush, flawless finish.

Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask

I personally don’t experience acne breakouts, but for those who do,  the new Neutrogena Light Therapy Mask ($34.99) could be right up your alley. Utilizing 21 LED lights, this mask claims to reduce breakouts through the magic of light therapy. I’ve been seeing this mask everywhere and after playing with it I have to say the construction and price is like nothing I’ve ever seen on the mass market — and I’m all about light therapy. Just 10 minutes each day is all it takes to start lighting your way to better skin.

Sally Hansen Moisture Rehab

We all know how important it is to moisturize our face, but what about our nails?! Sally Hansen’s new Moisture Rehab overnight nail serum delivers a deep moisturizing treatment, so you can wake up to replenished and healthier nails and cuticles. I had incredible results in 24 hours using this on my nails (although for some weird reason less luck on my toe nails). No matter though, I saw a drastic improvement on the lasting ridges that I get from peeling my gel manicure off.

Juvalips Lip Plumper

I’ve used a lot of lip plumping beauty products but this is my first device. You can read all about it (and see before and afters) in my recent feature on my favorite plumpers.
