It’s been a very exciting full week back from Europe filled with fun events and news I’m excited to share with you all. As some of you know I launched my youtube channel this week (there’s a massive beauty giveaway happening now) and also unveiled my spread in All You magazine! If you follow me on Instagram you’ve seen there hasn’t been a shortage of events happening in NYC. Here are some of the highlights of my week:
HP Star Wars Celebration
The force was definitely with HP this week, announcing they are one of the official partners of the new Star Wars The Force Awakens film. We stopped by the launch party to sneak peek some of the the exclusive Star Wars product line up from HP! More products and details will be released soon but until then enjoy the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens which hits theaters December 18th, HERE.
Couvoisier’s Exceptional Journey Campaign event
Such a fun Art + Fashion party hosted by Courvoisier cognac at Industria Superstudio. We partied alongside Rosario Dawson, Orange is the New Black’s Dascha Polanco, sipping delicious specialty Courvoisier cocktails created by Courvoisier National Brand Ambassador Zahra Bates while listening to a DJ set by Brendan Fallis.
During the event American cubist painter Jack Laroux and outerwear company K-Way unveiled a vibrant one-of-a-kind bespoke jacket (which Rosario, Dascha are wearing above — isn’t it so hot?!?! — and it’s unisex. Fashion house EN NOIR teamed up with French creative studio and design lab Bonsoir Paris on a contemporary fashion/art installation for this unique project.
Nautica NYC Pop-Up Shop
Looking for some holiday inspiration? Or just a quick wardrobe update for the season? Nautica just opened a pop-up shop at 134 Fifth Avenue at 19th Street open now through December 27th. Loads of great gifts, outerwear and clothes in an ultra chic store design.
Orchard Mile Launch party
This week we celebrated the launch of new online fashion site which has our bank accounts scared! Take a scroll down fashion’s most luxurious mile with the launch of Orchard Mile, a new digital shopping destination that provides designers’ full collections at the click of a button. We’re talking everyone from Adam Lippes, Oscar de la Renta, Alexis Bittar, Carven, Derek Lam — clothing, accessories, shoes and bags — all items ship direct from the designer, this is just an organized outlet with great content to help keep you organized.
The Root 100 Annual Awards Dinner
We closed out the week at The Root 100 Annual Awards Dinner presented by INFINITI. The elegant affair included a cocktail reception complete with a photo booth and Infiniti Q70 on display (drool!). Guests could also enjoy the ride virtually with their augmented reality goggles for a virtual test drive. After the reception, dinner was served upstairs at the Metropolitan West space with a presentation and shout out to The Root 100 honorees for their extraordinary accomplishments — many of which were in the crowd including Mali Music who performed. Porcelanosa NYC Showroom visit
Holy moley! For anyone looking to makeover their apartment (me everyday…), I did an amazing walk through of Porcelanosa’s new NYC showroom on Madison Square Park. When My Sorrow Died: The Legend of Armen Ra & the Theremin premiere
Friday night, James and I joined Patricia Field for the premiere of “When My Sorrow Died: The Legend of Armen Ra & the Theremin.” A documentary on Armen Ra, the glamorous Club Kid who was the bff’s with Amanda Lepore and the instrument that changed his life. You can watch the trailer HERE.
