For Cynthia Rowley Spring/Summer 2015 Fashion Presentation, the designer partnered with Birchbox for the makeup and nails and John Barrett Salon for the hair. As some you know Cynthia Rowley launched an exclusive makeup collection with the subscription beauty box service (who recently opened their first store in Soho and also sells full size product on their website). Led by makeup artist Daniel Martin, he used a variety of the Cynthia Rowley makeup collection, including “The Game Face Eyeshadow Palette”, which launches October 8th, as part of the makeup look. Since the Cynthia Rowley colletion is color, Martin used W3LL People‘s Narcissist Foundation Concealer and Bio Brightening Powder to create that flawless face. And then followed with the Cynthia Rowley Beauty Face Highlighter in MVP (which is featured as an eyeshadow in the new palette). And then for the eyes used the CR Beauty Pencil Eye Liner in Black and the Knockout eyeshadow shade from the palette. For the lips he used the CR Beauty Lip Stain in Sugar.
The collection has a 60s vibe so Martin wanted something pretty but still felt downtown, so the look is a bit broken in and has almost a disheveled next day slept in feel. Especially with the hair which I died for! I love that it’s this really chic updo but a bit undone at the same time. It has great texture without taking away from the softness of the look.
The nails they kept nude using a variety of their shades which they custom matched to each models skin tone.
