On Wednesday night, I joined Expedia and Citi for the launch celebration of their new travel co-branded credit cards. Designed for travelers to earn Expedia+ rewards bonus points faster that can be redeemed for travel rewards on Expedia.com, the program includes two new chip-enabled credit cards, the Expedia+ Card and the Expedia+ Voyager Card from Citi.

Bora Bora anyone?
Bora Bora anyone?

The event was designed to give guests the experience of using the card, whether it’s for grocery shopping, entertainment or on travel. Illustrating all of the points, the event started on the first floor of a beautiful residence in SoHo with a replication the Pearl Beach Resort & Spa in Bora Bora, one of Expedia’s VIP Access hotels. On the second floor, we had a surprise performance from John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls. Followed by grocery shopping on the top floor (they brought the farmer’s market to us!).
